Mosaic Brands, a specialty fashion retailer, has announced the appointment of Erica Berchtold as its new CEO. Berchtold, the former CEO of The Iconic, will succeed Scott Evans, who has led the company for the past decade and has announced his intention to retire. Berchtold brings over 20 years of retail experience, including a stint as managing director of Rebel Sport. The appointment comes as Mosaic Brands reported a 38% increase in net profit after tax for the first half of FY24. Berchtold will immediately assume her new role, taking over from Evans. Mosaic Brands chairman Richard Facioni expressed confidence in Berchtold’s ability to drive the company’s future direction and understanding of its customers. Evans, credited with turning the company around and navigating it through the challenges of COVID, will step down after a three-month handover period.
