A new branch of National Automotive Parts Association (NAPA) is set to open on Keller Avenue in Amery in the coming months. The building in the 300 block of Keller Ave. N. is currently undergoing renovations to prepare for the new business. Owner Tom Miller faced personal challenges before reaching this point, including a period of paralysis after being in a coma due to COVID-19. However, Miller’s determination and perseverance led him to pursue his own business venture. With the help of a company in River Falls, WI, Miller was able to develop a business plan and secure financing. Renovations are currently ahead of schedule, thanks to the assistance of family and friends. The new NAPA branch is expected to be operational by April 1, with plans to employ four individuals. Miller aims to support the community through fundraisers and collaboration with other local businesses.
