Shares of Sarveshwar Foods have gained attention in the market, hitting a fresh 52-week high of Rs 15.73 before experiencing selling pressure and dropping to a low of Rs 14.25. The company’s market capitalization is approximately Rs 1,450 crore. Over the past five days, the shares have provided a return of 26% to investors, reaching Rs 14.85 from Rs 11.85. In the last month, the shares have given a return of 105%, rising from Rs 7.25.
In the broader market, the BSE Sensex and Nifty started the trading session on a positive note but later fluctuated in a highly volatile trade due to mixed global market cues and the upcoming derivatives expiry. The Sensex climbed 83.06 points to 73,178.28, while the Nifty rose by 27.95 points to 22,226.30. However, both indices oscillated between highs and lows throughout the day.
Among the gainers in the Sensex firms were Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors, State Bank of India, Tata Steel, Reliance Industries, and Kotak Mahindra Bank. On the other hand, Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement, Wipro, and Larsen & Toubro were among the laggards.
In the global markets, Seoul recorded gains, while Tokyo, Shanghai, and Hong Kong traded lower. The US markets closed mostly higher on Tuesday. The BSE benchmark settled at 73,095.22, up 305.09 points or 0.42%, while the Nifty ended at 22,198.35, up 76.30 points or 0.34%.
